Visitor Guide

Visit Of Patients in our hospital; weekdays between the hours of 18.30-19.30, the weekend is between 13.00-15.00. Visitors will not be accepted outside of these hours.

In order to protect children's health, children under 12 years of age are not accepted as visitors.

Patient visits should be kept short and the number of visitors should not be more than 3 people.

If you have a respiratory tract infection (cough, sneeze, runny nose), it is important to postpone your visit for your patient's health.

When visiting your patient; You can bring books, magazines, newspapers and hygienic care products (cologne, paper napkins, paper towels, tissue paper, etc.).

Do not give your patient any food products without your doctor's permission.

Do not touch medical devices and medicines of patients.

For your own health and the health of your patient, do not sit on patient beds.

If isolation is applied to your patient, please follow the recommendations of our health care workers during your visit.

During the treatment, examination and medical care of our patients and during the medical visit hours, leave the room and wait in the areas to be directed by the staff.

During your visit; do not speak loudly in patient rooms and corridors, respect patient privacy, and do not disturb employees and other patients.

During your visit, avoid words and behavior that may upset your patient .

Before and after your visit wash hands or use the hand antiseptic which are in the rooms.

Control of compliance with patient visit rules ; is provided by service staff, hospital security officers and night administrative supervisor.Observe the warnings of the relevant staff during the visit and evacuate the patient rooms and the service at the end of the visit.

At the night shift; NIGHT VISITORS are not accepted, due to the fact that presence of only health personnel on duty and their number is small,not to be reduced the quality of services with unnecessary busyness and to provide patient and hospital security, the possibility of disturbing sleeping patients and to prevent the violation of Patient Rights.

In our hospital, garbage is sorted as medical, domestic and glass waste.The household waste buckets to be used by our visitors are in BLACK color bags and 'domestic waste' is written on it with big letter . During your stay in the hospital; throw your food waste in BLACK, plastic, glass and paper waste in BLUE, blood and patient output and contaminated wastes in RED sachets.

Keep your mobile phone calls short. Do not use mobile phones in areas where medical equipment is used.

Visitors are not accepted to the operating room and delivery room. Visits to intensive care units are carried out in accordance with the doctor's permission and the rules deemed appropriate by the department.

Companion Guide

The companion needs of the patient are determined by the doctor of the patient and limited to one person.

When you are allowed to stay with your patient; Obtain your companion card from the service secretary.

During your stay in the hospital,keep the companion card inserted and during companion exchanges hand it over to the person who comes after you.

During the treatment, examination, medical care and medical visit hours of your patient, leave the room and wait in the areas to be directed by the staff.

In the Obstetrics and Gynecology services, male companions are not accepted except for the private room.

During your stay with your patient; you can help for your patient's care to the extent permitted. At the training issues which are given by service nurses that are about the your patient's care (hand hygiene, prevention of patient falls, etc.) follow the rules that you must follow.

Use the "Nurse Call System" to call your nurse in case you need it about your patient.

Do not keep large amounts of money and valuable items with you.

Keep as few belongings as possible with you and place your belongings which you brought to the cupboards which are shown to you in the service.

Intensive Care Companion Guide

In our intensive care units, patient visits are limited to protect our patients from infections. Visiting hours of your patient's intensive care unit are listed in the table below. At specified hours; only one person is allowed to visit patient for a short period of time, by giving priority to first-degree relatives of patients. You should talk to your doctor for special cases.

In our newborn intensive care unit, family-centered care is applied. It is a philosophy of care supported by our neonatal intensive care unit that the parents spend more time with their babies for the health and development of the baby. Parents; They can visit their babies without hour and time restrictions unless there is an emergency in the unit.

Children under 12 years of age are not accepted as visitors to the our intensive care units.

Visiting hours in our intensive care units; can be changed or canceled by the nurse or doctor in charge of the intensive care unit according to the intensive care conditions.

Flowers and food are not accepted to the intensive care units.

At the end of the visit, wash your hands or rub them with hand antiseptic while leaving the intensive care unit .

Do not wait in front of the intensive care units while your patient's treatment continues. Since your patient's contact information is in the file, will be contacted with you if needed.
