The Department of Radiation Oncology was established in 1993 and has successfully continued to provide academic, educational and therapeutic were services for 23 years with the members of lecturers and the members of instituted lecturers. 14 experts who have completed their specialized training in our department are working in university hospitals and training research in our country with different academic titles. Now in our department 4 professors, 1 professor, 2 assistant professors, 1 doctor (assistant researcher), 5 medical physicists, 13 health technicians, 1 nurse and 3 secretaries. Actively used in our device park; 3 linear accelerator therapy devices, one of which can provide intensity modulated radiotherapy, a CT simulator, 2 treatment planning systems and dose verification systems support our activities.

Our Services

In our department, applications of external radiotherapy and all kinds of drugs, supportive therapies and medical follow-up procedures are performed in all tumor cases to eliminate the medical problems faced by these patients.
